Shannon Shreibak (b. 1993) is a queer, non-binary writer and multidisciplinary artist based in Chicago. Originally from "The Region" of Northwest Indiana, their work is deeply shaped by grief, trauma, fluid identity, and the visceral pulse of the Midwest hardcore scene.
Drawing from their background in the music industry, graduate studies in forensic psychology, and years immersed in DIY subcultures, Shannon crafts poetic, evocative narratives that blur the lines between personal memory and cultural observation.
In addition to writing, Shannon works with textiles, creating graphic representations of intimate pop-cultural memories and musical imagery—tactile expressions of nostalgia, noise, and selfhood.
